Assist the Manager of Warehouse & Distribution in the smooth and efficient operation of the BARM warehouse. Responsible to oversee the safe and accurate receipt, storage, and timely dispatch of donated goods. Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and that the handling of goods are compliant with BARM standards and protocols. Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Manager of Warehouse & Distribution, safely and courteously pick up and/or coordinate the pick-up of donations from designated donors and deliver to Bay Area Rescue Mission. Possess the ability to operate Warehouse machinery including forklifts, baler and moving equipment. This employee must be able to generate, log, and file receipts and paperwork that pertain to donation activity.

The Children’s Program Assistant position will report to the Parent & Child Advocate under the Program Director’s direction and work with the Center for Women and Children staff to develop, empower, encourage, strengthen, and support mothers and children in developing spiritually sound and healthy families. The position will focus on directly providing care to the children at the Center for Women and Children, meeting all their needs. Children’s Program Assistant, Center for Women and Children – Job Description
The Bay Area Rescue Mission (BARM) is seeking passionate and committed Mental Health Interns to provide therapeutic services to women, men, and children in our shelter and Life Transformation Program. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate-level students in counseling, social work, psychology or other related fields to gain hands-on experience working with a diverse population in a trauma-informed, low-barrier shelter setting. Interns will manage a caseload of 8-10 individuals and work within an interdisciplinary team to provide case management, individual counseling, group counseling, vocational placement, and psychoeducational services.
